Cool, need to do an i4D order this weekend, so will add some Achilles Prep. Do i need to strip the current LSP combo of Jetseal and Blue Velvet, perhaps with a fairy liquid wash or can I get away with a 'normal' 2BM wash and then apply Archilles Prep? Much love for the replys.

To be fair that is a lot cleaner than my bmc cda was when I took it off after about 10k. Was all sorts of crap clogging the filter up.

Hope it gets sorted mate, my alternator gave up 2 weeks ago. So that's the water pump, pas pump and alternator that have died in the last 18months, fecking French build quality!

Mine did the same two weeks ago, STOP and Battery light came on and didn't go off regardless of revs. voltage was 11.76 when the car was off, dropping to 10 something when on, limped it to the garage and it needed a new alternator.

Chris - drop Timsmeganer26 a pm, he sells the samco elbows now and again in the FS section. I got mine off him, brand new, for shall we say quite a good price. Also interested in what they quoted you (thinking of getting the same parts done on mine, and wouldn't mind knowing for a rough estimate)

Looks good mate. Don't know of anyone upgrading the xenons tbh, but silvervisions tidy the lights up a treat and get rid of the fried egg look.

Know what you mean mate, need to paint my rocker cover/engine mount now that the car is on ITB's as it's really letting the bay down. Not sure on whether to go matte black or VHT silver (which i like because it looks OEM)

It's the right choice keeping the wheels white Chris. What colour are you painting the engine parts?

Yep. Loved my old LS400, was a really great wafting barge. Ran sweet as a nut, even after it was run dry and the headgaskets were fried (not by me, incidently)

+1 I am loving the slightly softer nature of the 15" 2118's I'm now running, has taken the edge off the crashy ride on coilies

Boo. Mine made 167bhp @ flywheel today. Although it would have made 200bhp if I'd used ATF in the gearbox iirc ;)

How does that work JD? Is it like spraying the car with Megs last touch? And if they are not wiping it off, how do they dry the car?
