    Injector seals maybe, my 172cup runs perfect with no known faults for years, it also has always had a lumpy idle, I've just accepted that's how it is. I have a 275 megane, that is also the same at idle 🤷‍♂️🫣

    Prices for various parts are hugely marked up to general public, grooved discs for the rear of my megane, £104 each posted from Germany. In the uk they range from £3-500, lesser price is because they were on sale, uk price is basically double depending where you go 🫣

    I was £700 last year for belt kit, dephaser, pump, stat etc at a specialist, invoice showed cost of timing kit from renault was just over £100, parts were roughly £300, he said they got them cheap from renault as they buy bulk batches, mine was completed in 6hrs at rentec

    Just grip the piston in the centre of the spring, Stilson or vice grips, put a bit of leather if you have any against the jaw to save marking the piston

    Also keeping the ride height at a sensible level is the way to go on a road car with all the variations in road surfaces/camber/holes, lowered cars pull you all over the road when pushing on from my experience.

    For a road car I'd have it a little soft on the rear and medium on the front, these cars are not heavy enough imo when firm, makes them bounce about when they hit bumps etc. I've got bilstein b14 and they are a little soft, but to me it works fine on road, little soft for the track though on...

    Just means you'll need to remove the brake pipe if you ever need to move the caliper out the way for any reason

    Yup as above, rust is your main concern, next regular issue is electrical problems, immobiliser/uch faults and crunching gearbox more so at high rpm. Everything else is very simple to replace, I'd always buy the best one possible to spend money on

    The clio 182 trophy is great, but for everyday car hands down the mk3rs just walks away from it easily from my daily driving, I drive a 275 daily ots just easy to drive fast as a road car imo

    Just buy a cheap seat and mount, put it in night before is your best way I'd say, you'd need to use a harness also on track to keep you snug 👍 i have some cheap corbeau thats fine, not very comfy for daily driving though

    You'll be fine, once you feel the grip after a few laps, dont need to be hitting the limiter all the way round, need good tyres pads fluid and brake ducting then you'll have a great day,its to far for me or I'd be going 🫣

    All depends how r****d they've went when preparing the car, some chop wires, remove brackets etc which would be a pain, might be best just be best selling on and getting another.
