All depends on the crank you’re using. If it’s the standard ph2 172 item, I wouldn’t waste your money. They’re s**t and flex far too much. Only cranks worth bothering with are the ph1 crank and the 197 crank. Anything else is better off being used as a door stop.

I used to run switchable boost using a ford amal valve, and I used to switch that whilst driving, so I would assume that, yes, you’d be ok to switch the boost as you’re driving. Ultimately, it’s been mapped to run the full boost, so it will make no difference to the ecu imo.

Loads of different magic tricks mate that zee churmans have changed. Egr valve operation is a common change in most updates, but stuff like dsc, pdc, the auto box and other ecu controlled components also get updates. Cheers!

Yeah it can cause issues with the xdrive if the variation is too much, but having said that, I’ve only seen one transfer box that’s fucked. Seen 2 front diffs fucked though. It’ll get the mperformance splitter and black kidney grilles and that’s your lot. There’s things that can be done to it...

It will be a proper cup race beam mate. They changed the rear beams on the latest spec cars, and these had the additional plating and welding. Or at least that’s what I’ve seen on those cars.
