They're 70n springs mate, so 400lb's there or there abouts. This is how you read them: 200 = length in mm 70 = rate in Newtons 51 = internal diameter He did the same to me so I told him I was going to drive down and shoot him. It was resolved!! You'll be fine on the 70's at the back mate tbh...

@Yanoo is the best man to answer this! :wink: I've got the stiff shift fitted in my cup and I love it. Great bit of kit and does exactly what it says on the tin. Mines the stiff shift 1, and from memory the stiff shift 2 and 3 are adjustable for stiffness. This is his website...

It's called the big end bearing mate. They're about £30 a set from Renault from memory. Main bearings are where the crank lives and little ends are where the pistons and rods connect together.

I'm pretty sure it's 8mm od pipe mate.

Too many variables mate.

Full soft on the front, full stiff on the rear and up the tyre pressures as a starting point. Try it and adjust as necessary.

Mines stiffer than that mick (ooh er!) and it doesn't make the car skip.

You need to be selling it with your pinion gear as well mate ideally. They are a matched pair.

What's that mean in English then? Lb/ft or Newtons.

What are the spring rates? Front and rear?

More than fast enough for a clio imo.

They're quite awkward things to weld tbh mate. Normally the heat from welding causes tension elsewhere so they crack again. Need em in the oven so everything's at the same temperature.

It looks a lot tighter than it is in reality mate. There's not acres of space, but it's acceptable. It's no wizards sleeve. Lol

I've painted the inside of the carbon black to disguise it as well. No one needs to see what's what with the bonnet on!!

Exactly mate. No it's already been modified to suit mate. This inlet has been fitted to my original engine so I could get the majority of the fettling done. It all fits nice and subtle. :wink:

Yeah too right! Had to resist the temptation to shim the diff using the original shims earlier on tbh, but there's no point doing all this work to then cut corners. That's not how I work.
