Thanks a lot mate, much appriciated. I've learnt more about the industry in the last 5 mins than I did in two years at college.
I'm going to have a big think about it and possibly apply next year! Strage how I've never even heard of Ravensbourne until now but looking at their website it seems...
You know him too?? Lol. I was told that media (unless you are very lucky) was about job satisfaction rather than earning lots of money. I always knew this was b****cks, but was never given a lead of where to look.
Mate I wish I would have spoke to you a few months ago. I'm now working full...
Cheers for the advise dude but my college couse was so poor it put me off further education totally. Plus I'm wayyy to money motivated to go to uni. I got into Bournemouth Uni (which is apparently the UK's top for media) but turned it down as I wasn't impressed and everyone there seemed like...
Cheers mate, yeah I always find music one of the hardest parts to put to video, but constant music is vital IMO in small documentarys (if I can call this one lol) as it helps keep it flowing. Just look at shows such as Cribs for example. Looking back on it now I would prefer to use less...
Sorry if it's in the wrong section, mods feel free to move it:o
Just wondering whether anyone else is into this? It's what I studied at college for the past two years, really enjoy doing it!
Here's my FMP for my course if anyone would like to see it:star:

2nd one = Win.
Awesome shot, get it printed on canvass and you've got your dad a crimbo present too!
Love the third too, very different but it works.
Good stuff.
When I was at college I borrowed over 5k's worth of video camera equipment (inc lights, mics) to take to London to film EMF's reunion tour. I just insured it under the house insurance. I just declared it and they didn't put up the premium at all. Not sure about abroad cover though.
Go on then...
This was my first mk2 about a year and a half ago, and is the only 'bump' I've ever had!
I swerved to avoid an oncoming car that went too fast around the corner and ended up halfway on my side of the road, and I ended up going towards a fence. Managed to pull it back round...
Lmao, its my mate who has the car as a company car.
Cheers for the comments guys, much more positive than I expected!
Looking to get an SLR by the end of the month, so expect more from me:D
Was bored yesterday so me and a mate went to do some pics of his s-line.
Since I don't have a decent camera with a million and one lens' (yet:star: ) I decided to give them a go-over in photoshop to make them more aesthetically pleasing. Some may see this as cheating lol (I do to an extent)...
I have lots of knowledge, just no way of putting my knowledge into practise:star:
It's going for £200, good? And yeah its with the 18-55 lens, which i hear is pretty pony tbh.
Hi guys, been offered one of these at a very good price but don't know much about them...
Anyone have any opinions? Been after a DSLR for ages and this seems a good beginners one
Ta:o
Reminds me of my first car, nice one:D
Lowered on turbines is a great shout, simple and effective! I wouldn't even think about a respray etc, with being a first car an' all.
RT body coloured front/rear bumpers?
Some cool pics here!
Took these a while ago of my mates S2 RS Turbo with a P&S...and then he wrote it off:rolleyes:
Another one of my mates mr2...
One of the old mans TT from a few years back
Really after a DSLR now:D
Trying to think off the top of my head now dude as I've not spoke to the bloke in around a year but I think it was using fiesta XR2 running gear inc custom fabricated chassis with xr2 suspension and brakes. Bit of an odd combination but seemed to all hold together alright!
The twisties...
Hard luck mate, have similar damage on mine atm where some kind person decided to kick the side in...
Been quoted £2300 through Renault (gulp) and am going to get some new quotes at the weekend, as I might as well pull down my trousers and bend over if I'm paying that price lol
