    Tbh mate I've not seen an engine without 2 oil control rings, so couldn't comment on if it's an f4r thing.

    You have the top compression ring, 2nd compression ring and 2 oil control rings mate. That's the standard piston ring setup. It's only race engines that they start doing away with some of the rings, but they need rebuilds a lot more often.

    Thanks Keith. Yeah R3 maxi should make 230hp. Maxi Evo made 250hp, but they're on steel bottom end and solid lifter top end. They also Rev to 8500rpm!

    Correct mate. It won't blow either as its a tight fit. A lot of performance car and motorbike exhaust systems are done this way.

    Yeah here's hoping so mate. I'll be running the constant vvt setup that the 197/200's run as well which should aid drivability.

    No mate not a pitlane one. Too expensive to buy knowing I'd have to cut it up! Lol! Thanks mate! Cheers mate. It'll be revving to 8k, maybe 8100. Max power isn't acheived until 7800 rpm! Lol! That shows how nasty the cams are.
