I'd go the same mounting set up you had on the Monaco, I have the same as you but with purple powerflex dog bone, rattles like a b**ch inside also, so fu&in annoying, just fit a b14 kit and get a good geo set up, it's all you'll need and not crash for the uk potholed roads
I got it all sorted with a new sensor, I bought a supposedly new genuine sensor on here, but it wasn't as its faulty like my old one, new one fitted has been fine
My cup is very lumpy on idle when cold, or when driven the first few miles, timing is bang on and it runs perfectly otherwise, its always been this way since I've had it..I've just thought that's the way it is, although rather annoying..
Old thread bump...I have camber bolts fitted, the washer tab is at 3oclock position looking forward and have .50 a degree, I've been told they can't get more camber upfront, fitted with b14's and pms top mounts, all bushes/joints are new also, any ideas why we can't get to -1..5 camber?
Think i might make the journey, it's hard to know with work what to do (self employed) and doubt any of my friends would be interested 🤣 I did plan to sell my car so might be a good opportunity at the show, surely the best place to sell it 😁
You could check any RS, they both produce the same signal whether it be from the abs or gearbox sensor, I checked mine a while ago and cant remember, I'm away with work at the minute
Yes B1 is red in your situation, you can take a measure from the back of the head unit from the pulse wire, there is a violet wire in position 1 on the black socket, that's the pulse wire that goes to the clocks, it bridges of to the head unit to adjust radio volume by the speed of the...
Issue I have is the speedo not working, sometimes it works after 8miles then work until the car is shut off, then stops again! Sometimes it might not work once on a 30mile journey, next time it'll work after 2miles then work for hours....I changed the sensor for a genuine new one only used for...
Just whip the rear calipers off and clean/regrease all moving parts, wind the pistons partially out to make sure they are all good, its a very bad design, was crazy back in the day on the 5gt turbos also, they usually require an annual check to keep them in shape
Looking for a bit of advice, does the pulse wire from the speed sensor on the gearbox go to the ecu then onto the clocks & head unit, think its an orange wire to the ecu then violet from the ecu onwards...does anyone have the pin locations at the ecu, I'm trying to identify if it is the sensor...
