As Matt says - if you're after pure sound difference, then the induction kit definitely works for that. Was genuinely surprised at the noise difference when I added one to mine on the 182. I went for the KTec 2RS induction kit...

Just as a thought from taking the parts of a Clio Campus at the weekend. Would it be easy enough (or possible?) to recode one of the keys to work with my 182? I've no idea where my original spare key ended up - I lost that years ago. Would be handy to have a spare if the recoding option is viable.

Handy info in this thread. Can the gearbox oil level be checked via access through the filler port? Surprised that there's not a common dipstick feature on most gearboxes - would be something easy enough to implement - even if it was screwed into the outer housing of the gearbox itself.

So, the Ramair filter arrived yesterday and I fitted it today. From the outset, the manufacturing quality was WAY superior than the Pipercross effort. I particularly liked the small lip within the collar that stopped the 70mm induction pipe from sliding further into the cone filter itself...

Out with the shitty Pipercross foam air filter and in with the Ramair. Found it much easier to fit with the battery temporarily removed (probably not essential) - but glad I did as the right-side battery retainer clip was very loose. Me being me and finding a rattle-can of Hammerite knocking...

Yeah - missing those stickers. Genuine Renault item too - which is surprising as it doesn't have the hole for the bonnet open warning button.
