Yeah it’s got 19mm spacers and Bilstein coilovers… it does sit really nicely 👍🏼
He sent me a message on here a couple of weeks ago and although I wasn’t planning to sell, now might actually be the right time to let it go. I’ve had a good chat with him and he’s a genuinely nice bloke so feel...
Nice Stance on that assuming its got spacers as well as lowered.
How did the person interested approach you?
If someone was just to randomly say they were interested in buying my car and was not selling I would add a couple of grand on & see how badly they want it.
Have had notes left on the...
My Freddo and Jam is still in the box with my pads so will have well and truly melted by now. They’re a good bunch of lads and they give a damn. Are you going to CSF then?
...post gave me a gentle reminder that I needed to order a new stud & nut Kit. So you have cost me money :).
I also bought the 68mm ones from @FrogJam Motorsport as I run TD Pro race with no spacers.
Nice little gesture in the packaging which made me chuckle, I thought it was very clever...
The 172 clutch cable is too long. The 16v cable is too short.
So I’ve used a 172 cable but packed the end of it out with a spacer. That spacer has caused the pivot point to move meaning it’s putting stress where it shouldn’t.
Basically, fitting a gripper diff to my car was the worst thing I ever...
AST's were on the car when I bought it, H&R's were on the pearl white 220.
Brembo calipers are from the R26, 197 era.
Have to use 16mm spacers to clear the calipers with OE wheels on a 7.5J
Pure Motorsport rear 10mm shims are the go to but I'm using a 5mm universal spacer on the back.
I'm...
White on white 100% works, but, only if matching white. I had them on my mazda and they looked a bit weird in a different shade of white.
I'm gonna have to pick your brains about the brembos too, clio 200 or meg 3? Spacers and longer bolts needed? How come you ditched the H&R coils for the AST?
...own now
The offset means they stick out a lot more than the 2118. More importantly they clean the Brembos with ample room!
Even with the spacers removed they have loads of space!
For a second time my upper alternator got a crack in it. Speaking to a few people it's quite common for it...
Forgot to update the stud nut kit, supplied by @FrogJam Motorsport. I went for 68mm as they’re ideal for cars running no spacers and TD Pro Race alloys. They’ll also allow me to run my standard Cup alloys with the centre caps on.
Evening all,
Quick question, the OEM rear disc spacers we’re missing on my 182 so have purchased a set of grams reproduction disc spacers
Question is, which orientation are they fitted given both sides have a taper and a flat side it’s not immediately clear
Any direction/ help appreciated...

Im not looking at doing a track day till after the end of august so, wont be fitting them just yet, the Oem discs & pads on at the moment have plenty of life left.
also will be re-fitting the 16mm spacers on the front, then some stub axle rear spacers eventually.
Il be honest, I wanted to see how it felt/handled with and without front spacers.
On Monday I had a check round the front brakes, a nice little surprise was awaiting me, both front lower Carrier sliders seized solid (one snapped).
So no test drive :(, I have a new pair of carriers freshly...
wondering that myself. doesnt look like its got rear stub axles spacers. they sit much nicer on them front and back, recently fitted both to mine and looks so much better and didnt notice any difference to the drive. looks a nice example though.

Genuine upper inlet gasket
Remove Front 16mm Spacers

When people ask you what your dream car is, there's probably more than one. Well, thats my opinion anyway.
For me, a 911 was one of those. And I did own a 996 for a bit. The other was a Lotus Elise. Somewhere deep in a box in my dads garage there's a photo of me sat in an S1 back when they...
