Running no spacers and with ET38 fitment,195/50/15 tyres.

I'm sure its been covered before and I've forgotten, but are you running spacers on those? They look phenomenal. Are they low offset? 205 wide tyres? Fitment is spot on.

I run those wheels on 195's but without spacers, you shouldn't have any problems with rubbing.

Mine were fine with no rubbing. My setup was 205/50 on 15x7 ET35 with widened track on the front plus 10mm wheel spacers, and 10mm camber spacers on the rear. I ran 2.5° front and 2° rear camber. Be aware though that not all 205 semi slick tyres fit the same, some have very square sidewalls...

No spacers, stock camber. It was only a tiny amount of rubbing. Ended up running 195 rear and 205 front and that felt like a nice balance. Don't want loads of rear end grip anyway if you want to be quick.

Checked some threads and decided to add some spacers to rear wheels i didn t like how the wheel was sitinng with the wing so got some laser cut spacers and the nuts and bolts for rear hubs , also got 2 Michelin Pilot Sport 3 tyres , the handling of the car changed even better the grip on dry it...

@Martin_172 Thanks :) I just need to source one of those metal spacers. The garage which fitted the shock must have lost it. They left the top donut / top mount only finger tight too..

Nope there is a metal spacer that sides down the middle of the big rubber doughnut, the small 13mm nut then tightens down against it which holds it all together then that big top hat goes on once on the car found this online which shows it...

@Martin_172 Thanks Martin, The underside of the top mount cap has this spacer. Is this the one you mean? Could my issue be a missing washer under the bolt on the strut thread?

Yes the spacer is missing that slides down the inside of the rubber doughnut and holds it all together

Fresh spacers arrived so got them fired on. Also spotted that the scabby sill has now got dramatically worse since the MOT, so that is going to need to be cut out and welded. Should be fine until winter though right?
