Car body bounces around on uneven roads (most of UK roads then) My other solution is the machine some 12mm thick large spacers to sit under the top mount bearings. It removes some of the noise into the cabin, the fake induction noise, but has also been known to fix a noise from behind the dash. I can vouch for the rear axle spacers from pure motorsport. Easy to fit and make a difference.

Yeah Cooksports, along with 16mm front spacers and 10mm rear shim spacers, plus 225 profile NS-2R.

Check the length of your wheel bolts. I once fitted spacers and the bolts were 5mm longer than they needed to be It popped the bearing out slightly and ground a nice chamfer on the hub!
