hello all. after years of owning clio's, then buying something different, then coming back to a clio. I've done it again ! so far i've owned 2 x 172, 2 x 182's and a 197 ....now I've just put a deposit on a Clio 200 with cup pack in black. its nice to be back...again.

over the last week or so I thought I had a water problem ie an air lock, but I went for a long trip today and my car started blowing out white smoke. now my water is really low and even on tick-over white smoke is coming out of the exhaust.....is that the head-gasket gone..??? Also £££££££ for...

My heating was ok until I had my radiator changed........i have just changed my thermostat (just in case) and still no warm air.......I must admit once or twice a week I get the heating working but most of the time its cold air. Could anyone please advise me...???? thanks

After my last post about test driving the new clio 197 and finding it a let-down I've now traded in my 172 cp for a Megane F1 R26, at least I get to keep my 172 cup until March 1st.

went to showroom to buy a 197 lastnight but was very disappointed with the 197. tried the magane 225 cup which was really nice, fast and good looking. just couldn't get them to lower the price enough...dam..! Whats the cheapest anyone has paid for a 225 cup..?? thanks

Just bought a group N ecu, I must say it made quite a big difference to my car, also I'd like to thank pmurray for being very helpfull. top bloke.

I want to fit an after market exhaust on my cup but I've noticed that the rear valance thing under the bumper doesn't have a cut-out for an exhaust...will the new exhaust tailpipes fit under the valance or will it be too low..??? Also will I have to adjust the brackets for the exhaust to fit...

I take it that a clio 172 phase 1 exhaust will fit a 172 phase 2.?? thanks for any answers.

Please could someone point me in the right direction..... I fitted a chipped ECU last night and now my Temp gauge is always at the bottom of the gauge. could it be a sensor or maybe the new ECU..??? thanks

how does the connector come off the ecu.....does it just pull off or is their a clip.? I'm changing it in a few days so I'm just thinking ahead. thanks

but I'm confused on whats best for my clio 172 cup..... I'd like better low-mid range power. do I go for..................... 1) chip / remap. 2) full manifold back exhaust / ign filter. 3) decat on standard exhaust, ign filter and ???? 4) something else ( I only have arround £300...

hi, I MIGHT have to sell my car ( worse luck ) its a W reg 2000, Clio 172 in silver, it has FSH and its done 82,000. it has 11 months MOT 6 months tax.....all the normal extras inc 17" NEW alloys and tyres and a viper filter...????? price...???????

Finally after nearly TWO weeks my insurance co. has said they are going to fix my car.....they said it was 50-50, but at least I get my car back.
