Okay so i finally decided to get under the clio yesterday to try and get to the bottom of my vibration issue. turns out that my dogbone was loose as many threads on here suggest.

When I had it on the ramp it looked pretty new but it was loose. We tightened it up but I'm thinking it may be loose again. Possible damaged thread as we had to use a longer bolt with washers. Has anybody else had a damaged thread on the engine side of the dog bone mount?
So it seems buying a French hatchback is full of surprises. My passenger side carpets are pretty wet. So going to have a look into these drainage holes in the bulkhead and see what I can find. If these are not blocked are there any other common areas? Mine does not have a sunroof.
And in...
Not sure if I will be coming, I seem to have developed the old 5k plus knocking engine mount problem. Suspect dog bone. Have no money to replace it yet though :/

Cheers AlexW. it might be a bit slow but im hoping it will keep progressing in the right direction to where i want it to be.... wheels would be on my list too if financially viable.
