Can I hijack this thread with a few questions (sorry in advance)
My aircon is rubbish and I don't see the point of re-gassing for that one day a year when it warrants having it.
I have a 2005 182.
Am I right in thinking that all I would need to do is find a breaker and get the kit from a 172...
Can be that great for it when it's being flooded with ignited fuel. Probably saves fastchip being billed for cat's that they state this.
I might plug my decat in and see if the car runs any better post 98ron map. Anyone had this setup before?
Looks like the steam removed the excess glue well?
Cheers, has given me an idea on how to remove the glue attaching my number plate to the car. Looks like it has been put on twice now without cleaning off the excess!
If you read the guide on the site and look at the YouTube link you will be fine.

Pop and Bangs for the clio2 172/182 aka the chav map...
There are video's on YouTube. Search for fastchip. That will sort you.
There are also links on the site and a guide on here (again search the guides under fastchip)

Great write up.
I have just bought the NS2R in 195/55/15 (street so I believe 180)
I have done 60 miles and think they are great compared to other "big brand" road tyres that I have had on clio's before.
I couldn't break traction in the dry and on the road I pushed hard (within reason) and...
Went for the ns2r's in the end in 195/55/15
Just waiting for the wheels to get blasted and powder coated and they will be on for the weekend!
Appreciate the advice guys.
If it was me and I was keeping it I would change the exhaust to stainless (as it would have probably rotted away). Panel filter (so it can be cleaned once a year and not thrown away).
I would spend the rest on handling.
So I would uprate suspension, springs, bushes (especially the dog mount -...
There are a few threads on here if you search for the likes of "knocking new struts" etc etc.
A few people talk of the new bearing set up not being right and needing an old top nut and washer.
Might be worth stripping and rebuilding just to make sure everything is right?
Yes all rounder buddy. Funnily enough those were the two cheaper options that I was looking at and leaning towards the Fed's. These just came up and I thought for a little bit more I would be foolish not to consider.
Basically my car is the weekend toy. Building a fast road spec car that I am...
It's not that I want them it's the fact I can get them at a really good price but don't want to buy them. Fit them and then have to take them off and flog them buddy
i have been searching through threads but can't find a definitive answer. I am aware that they will fit my wheels 6.5j but wanting to know if they will fit my 182 which is lowered on cooksports without any rubbing.
Please could someone in the know let me know?
Hi buddy. Sorted it. The locking wheel nut was not tight. I thought it was going to be a take out and strip then put back together job. Foolishness from me.
Hi guys.
Finally got round to fitting cooksports and dampers all round and I am experiencing a knocking sound similar to the noise that happens and you pull up to a roundabout that has white lines across the road (so I am getting a noise and a bit of feel in the wheel).
The 1st 50 miles today...
