Anyone any other info on this as the pumps look the same just different plugs also there is a yellow and black plug on the replacement loom beside the abs pump what is this for?

Been having an issue with my wiring in my monaco 172 so i havestarted to replace the wiring loom in the engine bay....was going well until i noticed my abs plugs are completely different now to fix this is it as simple as change the pump to a suitable pump or are pumps locked to ecu...
Yeah dan shuda said that and bloke hes looking for ways to narrow down his fault....apologies i guess my answer shudve been take it to a recognised renault specialist so they can find it for you and charge you accordingly
very easy to do to test (without special tools) take a screwdriver and place it against it metal to meatl and then your ear on the tip of the handle you should hear a tapping noise.....if all is good there take the injectors all out still on the fuel rail and place a bit of card board infront...
let me know how you get on mate im in the same boat im waiting on engine wiring coming to try that but i have changed battery, ecu immob and uch and ignition barrel, tdc sensor throttle body and potentiometer due to the fault code showing and still no luck
Welsh name its not tdc sensor its fine,
Clio ben most of them come straight back and on the right alot of them do say short earth or low power. But the battery has been getting charged with same results. Il have another look on clip to see what they all say

Cheers evil giraffe il look more into ignition and firing order make sure i have it correct the plugs are getting spark injectors are all spraying and i have checked timing which seems spot on. How do you check injectors properly can it be done with a multimeter. If you can steer me to the fault...
The engine sounded like a tractor and refused to rev above 2000 revs there was a strong petrol smell and the mpg was like 9 mpg........then justdied out about a 100m from my drive
Ok here goes, i have had this wee clio just over a year and its been on the road 3 months of it....the car has had a replacement gearbox a new clutch full brake pad and disk change, all belts changed and service. Further to this new tdc sensor new ht leads and coil pack, before all this the car...
has anyone got a list of each of these and what they do im having real problems with my 172 the thing just will not start, and ive replaced all the usuals tdc sensor, checked coil and ht leads etc compression is all fine so im now going into the electrics which might I add are in not great shape
