I spotted a yellow 182 in a BP garage in Newbury at the weekend. I was in my yellow V6 and we obviously spotted each other. I would have said hi but you were too good looking :)
My V6 takes ages to get warm.
I can actually drive the car 100 or so miles down the motorway without the engine ever reaching normal temperature. I know that the gauge is right because the air coming out of the heater is also cold / luke warm.
When the car is stationary and isn’t being...
I saw a Blue V6 passing through Basildon on Saturday (about 2p.m.)
We tried to catch up with you in my friends Fiat Coupe but unfortuantely the traffic was to bad.
I don't know any of the background to this vid - I just found it on another car forum.
The Clio does well at the start but I guess he should have taken more care in the wet...
I wonder if he was able to claim of his insurance?

I spent today at the Pod (hi to those Cliosport members that I met).
I did several runs and everytime I got the book figure of 14.6 secs. No matter how hard I launched (3K - 4.5K rpm) I never could get lower.
Has anyone managed to get lower in a standard, unstripped V6?
A vid of one...
A short vid of me getting ready for and attending the Pod. I'm afraid that my editing is not up to much.
Unfortunately, the clip of me actually racing ends before I finish as the guy using the camera ran out of battery.

My car (V6 mk2) normally takes about 5 minutes to get up to temperature i.e. half way up the scale.
However, I took the car to Santa Pod yesterday and now suddenly my car is taking about 25 minutes to get up to temperature. Has something gone wrong or is the slightly colder weather to blame?
I have just bought private plates for my V6.
I had assumed that removing the current number plate fixings would just require a screw driver but it seems more difficult that that. The bolts used are a type that Ive never seen before and they seem to spin indefinately without undoing.
Any ideas?
I got out of my V6 this afternoon only to find a few spots of water under the front section of the car.
I pulled out the luggage holder and found a black pipe against the bulkhead that was wet. Anyway, I ran the car and the pipe started dripping water. I turned off the aircon and the...
172 seen coming out of Greenham Business park. I was in a yellow V6 and followed you into Newbury. I was impressed / disappointed to see that the 172 is as fast as the V6 (at least until the speeds get silly). Anyway, nice to see another Clio enthusiast – certainly did wonders for my ego when...
Ive recently bought a V6 255.
This is the first rear wheel drive car that Ive owned.
Last night I was demonstrating how good the traction is off the line by trying a launch at 5,000rpm. Now Im used to progressively taking my foot off the clutch to get the fastest progress, but I believe...
For those of you who havent seen them, please find below the Top Gear and 5th Gear reviews of the V6 255.

Where do I find the plaque detailing what number build my car is?
Is it normal that the fan still runs after the car is switched off - sometimes for a few minutes? The fan seems rediculously powerful!
Ive been saving for the best part of a year and finally I have purchased a V6. On the test drive the car just blew me away, the handling was awesome and the noise had me grinning from ear to ear. The performance is not overwhelming but its enough. The only problem is the attention it draws...
Right, Ive been saving for months and Im finally in a position to buy.
Im desperatingly seeking a V6 - it MUST be a mk2 and it MUST be yellow. So far Ive only been able to find one yellow V6 for sale and thats at a showroom in bath, but as yet we havent been able to agree a price.
Anyone...
Last Saturday, I went with the Fiat Coupe car club to Bedford Autodrome for a day of track racing. Incidently, there was another 172 cup also there - anyone from this forum?
Anyway, Im pleased to report that the 172 was remarkably good, especially considering the competition. It could easily...
What are the best brake pads for the 172 cup and where can I buy them online? I have a track day planned for next week and want to try and avoid heat soak.
Plus are they easy to fit? - Any online guides?
How comes people bother to change the suspension setup on the 172 Clio cup. Wasnt the cup renowed for its handling? Why bother to change something that was designed with the help of a professional driver?
I know this gets asked a lot but Ive never seen the definitive answer.
My car currently has Yokohama A539 195/45/R16 fitted. I personally think they are about OK in the dry and dangerously poor in the wet. What are the best no expense spared tyres to buy for the 172 cup?
I bought a 172 Cup a few weeks ago. It handles like a go-kart in the dry but in the wet Ive been finding it a little too playful. Im very used to being able to go into roundabouts at high-ish speed and be able to control the understeer by lifting off the throttle. However, in the wet, it...
Im looking to buy a V6 early next year (after Ive cleared a few debts). However, Ive heard that they are planning to stop selling the V6 in September :(. I could buy second hand but Im really after one in yellow and Ive never seen one of them come up for sale in autotrader - I could be waiting...
