Is it possible to add in traction control to an early 172 with no traction control? it has all the cables that are needed, I could acquire switches. could you just swap out the ABS computer with one from a 182 or 172 with ESP?

The boot light does not work on my 2002 172, Ive had a multimeter across it, It reads 2-5 volts when the boot is open, If I go and wiggle some wires under the fusebox I can get it to read 12 volts but there are so many wires I wouldnt know where to start with them!

The pump is easy enough to replace yourself, my pump destroyed itself. The fluid was black and there were chunks of metal in it.

Mine did this when the break fluid was low

Does the car turn over? Is there an immobiliser light flashing or staying solid on?
