From what i can tell it could be missing, is that just a hole there? or is that actually capped off.
follow the wires i have marked and they should lead you to the resistor.
any chance you can make these pictures a little bigger?
from what i can see it looks like your's is just missing the plug but my eyes are bad and the picture is just a little to small.
Cheers looking back its crazy how much i have actually done to this car! The rubber pipe in the middle was chock full of s**t and getting access is a bit of a pain in the ass but its worth doing, i finally have a dry interior after it rains.
Quick update as i have been busy getting my life in order for Christmas;
The car is still feeling neglected although it has had a few more bits done, i replaced the exhaust hanger again as they appear to be made of butter (I have now done the turn it in to a tool box modification)
The...
Quick update as i have been neglecting to fill in what i have been doing with the car, i have the Rainsport 3's fitted to the car now and i find them quite a nice ride. I have done a complete oil and filter change and some other bits as well. I am sure there is more but in all honesty i cant...
Been a bit of time since the last update (no internet due to a house move) so i have decided to bring you all up to speed.
With the storms that have been bringing ungodly amounts of rain to the north east i found my car had started trying to collect as much water as possible in the foot wells...
I want to avoid using second hand parts as much as possible, i do appreciate some times bits i change will need to be recon items but for the most part i think its best to avoid parts that are on average over ten year old and used.
To be fair its probably going to turn out that its corrosion in...
Yeah, i am too pigheaded for my own good sometimes. but i have a soft spot for the Clio so i will soldier on. In truth i don't really mind it i enjoy doing the work and it keeps me out of trouble, my only regret is selling the E38 as now i don't have a car on the road.
So this morning i go outside before work and change the wheels over in the snow :), eager to drive to work and get out the cold i start her up and i am greeted with the revs hovering at 2K and the limp home light coming on. quick diagnostic check is throwing up TPS issues :( quick call and...
So in the epic battle of my Wallet VS the Clio i was coming out ahead, i had a small knocking sound from somewhere in the suspension but that was nothing that had me worried, a quick visit to my local Northeastern Tyres had my tracking sorted out to an extent, things where looking up. Feeling...
Yeah she is not as Tidy as pictures would have you believe, but she seems to be mechanically strong.
I think she has been raced and spun out a few times (mountains of stone chips on rear quarter) maybe even had a under stear smash in to a kerb at one point, but i am invested in this thing now so...
So i have decided that i should do a project thread on here, to try and chronicle just what is happening with my little red Clio.
A quick overview on what has happened so far:
Purchased the car for the princely sum of £740 with a slow leaking PS pump (i overpaid, should of walked away when i...
The problems are near enough all fixed now, i just have some KTR coilovers to go on and some powerflex wishbone bushes getting done tomorrow and that is the last of the mechanical faults. Although i still am waiting on a ballast for a headlight and the heater relay to arrive in the post. so...
On the way home the Power steering pump seized, causing me to have to disconnect the alternator and PS pulley so i had to change to a new battery every 50 miles or something (3 in total). Since getting it home i have had the power steering pump and aux belt changed, then the PS pipe cracked on...
Hi i have owned my little Clio for a couple of weeks now and it has a Cliosport sticker in the rear window from previous owner so i decided to check out the forum and see what it is like.
