Got the one job fixed today, can't remember what he said it was but it took him 4 hours because of where the inlet was so he had to take the wheel off and air con out and something else I can't remember, I'm useless with mechanics
Got it to the garage on Monday turns out there's oil coming from the head gasket (which means nothing to me).
The bloke also suspects that the gearbox is leaking oil from the selector seal, as mentioned above but he reckons he can fix it without having to take the gearbox out! Will update...
Okay so I have an oil leak, don't know how long its been leaking but I've noticed several patches both on my drive, in the garage and on the road outside where I sometimes park.
I'm not the most mechanically minded and if I'm honest I don't really know what type of oil it is.. It is clear on my...
Hi Guys, looking for some advice!
As I've previously said on some of my other threads I'm pretty novice when it comes to cars - bought my first car in December last year and it's just had it's first MOT in my ownership. I'm happy to say it's passed, however I have a couple of advisories - I'm...
Hi, can anyone recommend me like a kit, or separate parts for a 13cm component setup for clio 1.2.
Components, crossovers and amp needed.
Thanks for any help :relieved:
Some of you may have already seen on some of my other threads that I have recently purchased my first car, an 07 clio campus sport, and I'm basically trying to spruce it up a little.
At present I'm currently saving for some detailing stuff so I can try and get into keeping my car looking good -...
Seat covers look horrendous, I'd rather look at the fag burn than some seat covers.
And 172 seats are my last option, hopefully it'll be cheaper to have these seats repaired - I'm quite fond of them, go nice with the blue exterior.
Recently brought myself a little clio which has got a couple of fag burns in the front passenger seat, and a couple of tears in the drivers seat.
Anywhere in Bilston/Wolverhampton area I can take to get these repaired? Really making my car look untidy! 😞
Finally got round to getting the fog light out, it has a couple of cracks on the back which is why all the water and stuff got in and it looks like it had been there a while to be honest.
Removed the fog light, gave it a good clean, sealed with some silicone and finally got it looking good...
hi, can anyone recommend me the best wipers for my Clio campus? Preferably with links
I bought some eBay ones (http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/AERO-Front-Blades-amp-Rear-Wiper-Renault-Clio-1998-to-2005-amp-Campus-2005-to-2008-/360573319443?txnId=735391549023) But they don't wipe the whole window, both...
Haha well that was a simple enough answer!
When you say it's plug and play;
I'm assuming if I buy the 172/182 Xenons it will come with ballasts and whatever else is needed?
Is it legal to fit them without headlight washers?
Will they work with the headlight level adjuster (don't know it's...
Hi all, so basically I bought myself an 07 Clio Campus Sport (I know a lot of people don't really like the Campus but I do tbh) just before Christmas and am in the process of upgrading the lighting - so far I have changed interior light, boot light, number plate light and side lights to SMD...
As I understand the CTSRN005.2 is the actual steering control adapter, and my CTMULTILEAD.2 was the patch lead that got supplied. What patch lead came with your order?
Sorry to bring up an old thread, any chance you could upload a picture of your wiring now? I've just got one of these sockets and I'm also confused on how to wire it.
I'm currently in the middle of doing things to my car, just to generally make it look nicer, and in better condition.
So I was just checking all my bulbs are working and discovered my front fog light is what appears to be full of water/sludge/leaves, I can't even tell - and it's all yellow...
I just assumed it was Alpine specific since DynamicSounds asked me to specify which patch lead I required, if only I'd read the instructions properly first.
And I was too impatient to wait until tomorrow, so I went out and cut the wire, and all is working!
I've had the dash off earlier today to...
Apologies guys, I've just read that the supplied lead is a CTMULTILEAD.2 and isn't Alpine specific (obviously it is multi) and that the green wire needs removing (or cut) so I'll try this tomorrow when it's light again (and I can be bothered to take the dash off again) and let you know if it works.
