I never fitted the first set they've been on the car since I bought it. I guess I never put the clip on the correct way or something similar. I'll have a look and see if there is a guide available.
Is it common for the metal retaining bar to disappear and the brakes pad to go with them...
This is the second set of pads I am having to put on in 2 weeks...
Does anyone have a link to the correct length of induction it hosing, looking to go the The Fatty's route but don't want to end up with a hose that is either too short or two long, alternatively the correct length would suffice instead of a link.
Thanks.
Tried searching and couldn't find the answer.
Looking for new hose clips for the radiator, anybody know what size they are supposed to be and the best place to get some?
Hoping this isn't too big of an issue.
10 minutes into motorway journey today, I noticed the temperature gauge rising, so about half way between the middle and max line, I pulled over to check the coolant, and it is gone... So along comes motorway incident guy and fills it up, and we watched...
An automatic car wash (I'm lazy and car is already scratched to hell) causes this every single time for me. Leave it an hour or so to dry and it is fine.
I've just managed to get a hold of a replacement bonnet release catch for the passenger footwell, it looks like it should be secured in place?
Anybody any idea if it is a screw or bolt to secure it, and to either one, what size is it that I would require?
Looking at getting a de-cat system set up on my 172 Clio, how do I tell there difference between a 172 and a 182 manifold? Seems difficult to track down a decent priced 172 de-cat pipe but loads of 182 de-cats on ebay etc? So I'm hoping mines has a 182 manifold on it already.
Paging is where your RAM gets filled up so it moves part of stuff it is working with on to your HDD which is much slower than RAM. I'd avoid 10 if you know there are issues with it. When it is running slow, check the performance tab in task manager and see if your RAM is full or CPU usage is high.
Windows 10 still has iffy trackpad and ethernet drivers on some Motherboards with Win10. Run a speed test with the laptop next to the router too, better results?
RAM is used to store applications and data as they are used by the computer, it is temporary storage, where your 1TB is permanent storage. Safe to assume you're using Windows? If so, which version? Anything > than 8, then I'd remove any 3rd party security software as Defender by Microsoft is...
Whilst not great, it is better (DL) than the UK average. What are the specs of the machine? RAM and Storage? If you're close to full on storage you'll notice a significant slow down.
Doesn't appear to be a definitive answer to these faults, wherever I have searched. Anybody got a workflow I can start to try and get rid of these two faults? (Without just resetting all faults) Any help will be massively appreciated.
This is my first post, so hopefully I don't seem like too much of a newbie. Can anyone please provide links to kits they have on their cars if anyone has any. Looking to swap mine over but don't want to risk buying a crappy set.
