Revisited an old question today as I have been offered a Trophy in part ex for my 172 Cup. Deal is good, given the Cup is negative equity.... Cup is nearly 3 yrs old with 36200 miles. But should I go for it? Heart says yes. I love the Recaros plus it has just a couple more creature comforts...

Got my exhaust rattle fixed last week - peace at last. lol Had the central section replaced under warranty so happy about that. I assume it is the centre section of teh exhaust on 172s that usually goes? Andrew

What is the latest about the new Renaultsport Clio? Autocar reckon it is available January but not seen anything to confirm that. Any info appreciated. Andrew

Quick question. Do Cups have a cloth or leather gaitor over the base of the handbrake to cover the mechanism? Just had my car back minus this but want to be sure it IS missing before I say anything.Cant see why it would have been removed... Andrew

Going to book the 172 Cup in for its 36000 mile service soon. What should I request is done beyond the standard service items? I know the accessory belt needs doing and it should have an anti corrosion check with a service too shouldnt it? Anything else? I seem to remember someone mentioned...
