As above really, the gearbox failed after 1 month so we asked you whether you wanted us to send a replacement used gearbox or have that one back to recondition. Agreed for that one to be reconditioned and we paid to collect the gearbox have it reconditioned and its now on its way back to you...
There is a special tool for doing them, so purchasing this is usually only a bit cheaper than getting a garage to do them, dropping the axle from its mounts is easy, as it can hang from the rear shockers. Some press out easily and others can be so tight they need burning out. I would expect to...
Have you thought about rotating the position of your wheels just to rule the tyres out, swap that one with a rear one, see if you have any change. Most issues with the drivetrain tend to change if there is load / no load.
Not Just a case of replacing the bare engine, which im assuming is what you have seen for that Price. Brakes wouldn't need upgrading rear drums are easily up to the job.
Its the exact same wheel with a different covering on the rim basically, they are just Vinyl finish, they match the airbag perfectly and the horn buttons attach straight on. Vinyl finish is leather texture just with no stitching and they don't wear.

Rear calipers are made by TRW i believe. virtually identical part as fitted to the Mini's etc. Not great but these things do happen on all cars. a mechanical moving part may need some maintenence after 4 years.
