clip broken would be fine , but the problem is the current loom doesnt have one at all. So dont fancy replacing the entire loom. Will check on breaking

Is there anywhere i can get a replacement plug that goes on the end of the loom that plugs into the throttle body housing. Its the 6-pin type, made by vw/audi. Tried ringing Renault and they said i have to buy a complete engine loom. Rang local vw dealer but couldn't get anywhere with them.

is that all it is sound deadening. Seems a bit pointless on a car like a 182. I aint going to refit it anyway

I think its one of those if done properly its nothing to worry about. Its just you dont tend to find out if they have been done properly unless its too late. In most cases anyway

nah the cambelt was done same time as the aux belt.

2004 it was and history of the aux belt being done at 28k previous owner must have know about its reputation

Joy of joy my little 182 snapped its cambelt the car is on 35k and guess what took it out. Correct the aux belt. However after taking the thing appart it looks like the firewall has played its part. I aint got a clue what was going on here /add pic in a minute

In my clio i have been known also to slam the seatbelt buckle thing in the door when ive closed it but that scratches the inside and not really chipped the outside

my sister has a S-reg clio 1.2 grande and that doesnt have a trip computer i dont think

i had a cambelt snap on my very first car yes it was a clio but an older shape one and that went at 73k bent all the valves and was left with a nice little repair bill luckily it was only an 8v engine so only 8 valves to buy :). All my cam belts are done well before due now.

£600 for one sounds good, they are on the heavy side and they 0-60 in about 7.5s so aint that quick but i enjoyed my old one

I have a 1.6 16v and i find its ok but at times fuel consumption can be a bit low if your heavey footed :s but overal its a lovely car and handles pretty well.
