A longer 5th would surely be beneficial in today's fuel nightmare. Nothing too dramatic but still, the engines got enough pull to cope with a solid reduction in rpm?
Been a while since I've been in one, so need reminding about the rpm/mph at say 80mph. I will be buying again before summers out...
i know it doesn't fit properly - i'm THE fussiest b*stard and it will eventually bother me to the point when i will take it to the little old man i know for a half hour fettle; but just for now the relief of having got rid of that appauling standard exhaust more than makes up for the teething...
You have my sympathy.
12 visits and 4 replacements later, i bit the bullet and got a hayward and scott. best thing i did. the car has transformed. sounds like its got 182 too.
After seeing what was replacing it, i laughed when they asked if i wanted to take my old one away with me...

i just want some new PC polisher pads, but dont really wanna spend $26 on postage of some foam worth less than that.
Alternatively, can i get pads from anywhere here in the UK?
Any help...

a brace that stops the engine from moving around on its moutings. The movement of the engine whilst gunning seems to be responsible for the exhaust becoming loose time after time.
The mountings have been replaced in december so should not be an issue (but then it was...
Is an engine brace available for the 182?
Every time I give it a thrash, the exhaust starts to blow and I'm bored with the constant return to Renault to reattatch it.
Used to have the same problem with a mini but a brace sorted it.
Anyone know?
