£12500 inc cup packs and cd changer/metallic paint about right dont pay any more
182_blue, hows the new car?, sorted the tripometer out yet?:devilish:
I phoned a dealer and asked for a Cupd 182 full fat for £12500 and he wanted me to put the deposit down there and then.
Needless to say I agreed but only after going to see him.
Got a multi changer at no charge too.
Pick up week on Tues
I test drove a 182 in racing blue with stripes at Sunwin Renault in Bradford a couple of weeks ago - great car - first time ive seen racing blue, infact it made me choose that colour for mine.
Good choice, enjoy
Ive never used a snooper or similar before, but as I pick up a 182 in June, maybe Ill need one (currently drive a diesel306). How good are they - does accuracy depend on make/model? and do you have to maintain subs for GPS ones?
Cheers
Dave
Sorry, but they DONT lose 50% in two years, unless they have MEGA mileage or have been trashed - Ive been looking around for a few months and know the prices they go for.
172s over three years old maybe but not 2 years old......
50% depreciation is pretty standard in the industry wouldnt you say? Even though the Cooper S has possibly the best residuals around, in pure financial terms I dont think the 182 etc deserves the kicking it gets.....
This depreciation arguement always makes me laff. Take the Golf GTi vs 182 in terms of depreciation; the Golf brand new is £20k - you wont get ANY reduction on price. Ive seen a report that the GTi will be worth 55% after 3 years - say £11k. That means a loss of £9k or £3k a year.
The 182...
Ive ordered a 182 in Racing Blue, both cup packs and CD changer for £12500 from a Renault dealer but Im sure someone on here has got one for high 11s from a dealer.....
Im getting one with both cup packs and CD changer for £12500 - Arnold Clark Renault - Warrington.
Its got to be Racing Blue though.

One of the reasons Im getting a 182 is that there are nowhere near as many about as CTR bread vans or MCSs.
Dont see too many Leons - Cupras or Cupra Rs about near me either.
thats a great pic 182_blue - I saw an inferno on Saturday too but stuck with the Racing blue after also wanting one in black gold, then arctic blue but when I saw racing blue in the flesh my mind was made up.
Yes, I asked about the Recaro option, but whilst the dealer knew about them, hed not seen em. The standard seats are pretty good anyway so decided to stick with them, though the Recaros do look cool.
Agree on the cup packs - asked dealer if they sell many without and he said about 80:20...
Hi,
Yep, both cup packs, worth the suspension pack for the alloys alone. The front splitter looks cool too.
Test drove one couple of weeks ago with sales man and girlf in back - had to get past 5k RPM to see what it was like! Didnt go down that well....:devilish:
Hi everyone,
After wanting a RS Clio ever since the mark 1 172 and wanting a valver and Williams before that but never getting one, last weekend I finally signed for a 182 in racing blue (no, honest!;)) Ive got to wait until June though :( so the wait begins.
Ive been following the forum...
