speeding !

he just got his first speeding ticket

FOR the day after he got it

i didnt laugh much

Got my Snooper when I got to 9points for speeding (3*SP30s). Now theyve all dropped off my licence but cant live without my Snooper now... (heard they are gonna become illegal soon tho!? )

companys that make snoopers and such are threatening court action if they try to ban them

Ok m8. Well, I will keep my Snooper on the dash til I hear theyre illegal.. and after I hear they are illegal I will keep it on the dash and get ready to grab it and throw it on the back seat when I see a cop-car!

i think its only certain parts of the snoopers thatll become illegal. I thought it was the gprs part ?

the fixed speed camera bits are still gonna be ok ...

not 100% though.

id keep my snooper up even if they do ban them . better getting a fixed penalty fine than 3 points and a fixed penalty

Because of the forthcoming General Election the Bill going through Parliament, which would have made the detector illegal, had to be dropped because there was no time left in the current session of Parliament....so for the time being theres a reprieve.

happened to me the day i put my 172 on the road!!!

the funny thing was i hadnt sold my saxo vts yet but i couldnt wait to take it for a spin!!! i wished i hadnt cos i would have been £60 richer! lol.

Surely if everyone had a snooper the roads would become safer. People would slow down for cameras because they know they are there. Thats the idea of cameras aint it, to slow people down and save lives? Or are they the to generate money

Ive never used a snooper or similar before, but as I pick up a 182 in June, maybe Ill need one (currently drive a diesel306). How good are they - does accuracy depend on make/model? and do you have to maintain subs for GPS ones?
