Not sure on a drag probably mine but the starlet isnt running right yet and the mx is really slow.
The TRD stickers came on the starlet i dont know why my mate hasnt taken them off yet.
Sidelights are just led's one is off the net somewhere and one is a halfords one
I shall give that...
The fox wheels came on the starlet and my mate wanted 100 quid for them with nearly new tyres on plus i needed some so it would be rude not to.
the exhaust is a combination of a badly fitted powerflow, modified with refitting, removed mid box and a new tip done by chorley street garage (ford...
We dont know the figures for the Gt as for yet he's only had it a week or so waiting for a new actuator and getting it on the rollers and maped up , its probably about 160bhp we think at the moment
i may get myself over to the meet i will look up the details
Me and a couple of mates were bored, Plus i havn't really got any pics of the car since the exhaust tip change, wheels and coilovers so a perfect excuse for a photoshoot, so though we would go round trafford park looking for decent places to get some shots here is what i got.
all the cars are...
rear shocks are new and in good condition.
the camber at the front is sensible its near enough standard.
so looks like tyre pressures
i had it set up when they where fitted and its getting tracking camber and toe in/out checked over on friday but i shall check the pressures before then...
Right its a mk2 ph2 172 i fitted fk coilovers about a month or so ago and they where great i had them set perfect, but ...
i went to france 2 weeks ago and had to raise it up while i was there as it was scraping the floor on the road where we were staying.
So at weekend i lowered it back...
ahve you checked that the nut for the mount under the battery tray is tight. no the top one you can see but the one underneath thats a pain to get to i had knocking when cornering and this seems to have been the problem with that.

The second picture is mine :) its on FK highsport coilovers The back as far as it will go with both adjuster rings on and the front it just set to match.
Hi guys nice to see you even if i didnt really speak to any of you lol
Have you measured the badge yet is it level lol ;)
mine are highsports but they are the same really lol
i dropped the back as low as it will go with the adjusters still on, the fronts are so the arch is just above the tyre
Sidelights were in when i bought the car, they do look better than a yellow glow but are pretty rubbish as lights.
Yea Pics where taken up rivington on my back door step lol
The exhaust is a powerflow job. Fairly well done apart from it keeps shifting to one side but thats pretty much...
not posted any pics on here before so after 6 months thought id get some up. some from a shoot i did with a friend and his starlet a while ago.
and some recent ones of it now on the coilovers and dirty.
a chav that came past us lol
now and attempt at some arty...
Lol
I solved the problem it seems the camber adjusting bolt on the passenger side wasnt tight enough and was adjusting all the time messing up my handling. i found this out going through a big pot hole and it totaly adjusting leaving me thinking i had messed something up really bad, and to...
with bell try diferent days and weeks it changes week on week. also make sure you put a parent on it drops it down. and its cheaper if your single as well.
the suspension travel could be the problem. i dont really know the spring rates its whatever comes on the highsport kit. the back is a lot stiffer than the front well it certainly feels it.
im really impressed with the kit the ride is great just i think im a little to low lol
ive seen foxy's...
its lowered a lot the front tyre is almost into the arch. i think im gonna try raising it a little see if that helps. it handles better than before. just if the tyre squeeled or something to give me a better clue of what was going on lol
Ok i dont really think its the coilovers that have done it.
But , I went out last night on a bit of a drive and when going round roundabouts it seemed to get about 3/4 of the way round then the front would start to understeers. Ok so not that much of a prblem then, But! its the way it is...
Right this morning and tonight on the way home my heaters appeared to get stuck on no matter what temp i set it on. or where i set it to point. but when i got to where i was going i stopped turn the engine off. turned the ignition on and then turned the a/c on and it went cool then i turned the...
and before anyone says thats rubbish if you look closely you can see there is nowhere for the big side of an inner bootto attach to and you couldnt get one on if there was coz there is no way it would get over the bearing. is a silly design.
mine went like that and they dont do a gaitor for that side its a new driveshaft job. trust me on that i looked everywhere for a cheaper way. its definatly a new driveshaft. i managed to get one from a local motorfactors for 90 quid. dead easy to change though about 1hour job.
hiya matey yea i noticed. no i live in bolton House sitting at the girlfriends Nans for a few weeks so that why i was round there. are you from round there?
Car was looking very nice by the way.
dont know about renault i paid about 90ish for the drivers side one from a local motor factors. but i have a nightmare getting one as one of the suppliers books was wrong so the wrong shaft was sent hence a longer wait. then when i got one that was right it kept making a knocking noise as if the...
