Take it that no one has bought one of these even for a earlier Clio II or non Sport derivative? I'm keen on taking a punt but main concern was how secure it is one in place - looks like a "suck & see" situation.

I thought the 172 was lumpy when cold, but my 197 feels like it's driving with 2 cylinders for the first 10 minutes. But hey that's better than thrashing a car that revs to 8k rpm right from the off!!!!

Nice Red Clio RS mini meet at Tesco on Tuesday 1st June at 12.30 ish Waved and acknowledged each other. Not seen a 200 in red before and it looked good with black alloys, chin and diffuser - also noticed it had Recaros but also rain / lights sensor so think it was a 200 with Cup kit?

I'm sure you've checked the car out properly but make sure it is actually an R27 F1! I saw 2 or 3 advertised that stated they were F1s - they had the anthracite alloys, recaro seats but no stickers, F1 plaque or extra rear tinted windows!! Someone will fall for it even though it sounds obvious...

I've got an R27 F1 and mine only has the bumper stickers (thankfully), I did ask to have those removed as well but sales guy said that it will cost you £500 to get replacements fitted!!!! Keep it plain because you and the trained eye will immediately know it's an R27 ;-)

So do we reckon Heko are a good product? At £30 a pop it's hardly a big issue but I don't want them to start degrading in the sun / heat for quite some time!

Can't help on the paint codes, but do you know if the piano black 200 rear diffuser is interchangeable with a 197 - cos I love it ;-)

That reminds me - I plan on making a few alterations. Does anyone know if the new piano black diffuser & exhaust on the 200 & Cup an easy swap? The rear bumpers look the same so was hoping the diffuser section was a simple upgrade
