S-03s currently on the Vee, superb grip in the wet (rains frequently here). One bad thing is that the front tyre does scrap when turning sharply due to the more squarish design of Japanese tyres in general.
There are only t2o MKII V6s in Hong Kong, so its was special seeing one a couple weeks back (Iliad blue) . Much more rare to see a MKII vee than an Enzo (7 of those here)!
A vee registry would be nice...
...by a taxi driver who wasnt paying attention, braked hard, and slid into my car at the traffic light. I feel very sad that my car is left with the following:
1) Major dent on the rear hatch (hatch does not seal shut and sensor indicates its still opened at all times, had to disconnect the...

klio, nice meeting up with you yesterday. And thanks for letting me try out the car, it certainly drove better than stock with the changes you made.
Will have a chance to take more pictures of this special yellow vee on the next meeting. :D
£1500 each?! :o
how about these as cheaper alternatives? Not sure if they have the correct offset for the vee though. What offsets do we have for the stock OZs?

I reckon silver hides the dirt very well; can never get rid of the brake dust too! :)
Camber is normal. Thats only some picture distortion to the picture since I used a wide angle lense.
Loving every second behind the wheel!
Some recent pics... enjoy!

Anyone have or know of where I can search for sound clips for the K-tec exhausts for said car? I reckon its a shame the V6 cant sing the way it should with the stock pipes, so looking for some improvement in that area. Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Stu, a full service at the only Renault authorized dealer here is HKD $2400, which equates to about 166 GBP. There are 1 or 2 local shops that can provide a service as well, but as special as the vee is, I rather be paying the price for service at an authorized shop.
After next weeks...
Congratulations, I got mine about two weeks ago (Silver MKI No. 1188) and havent stopped smiling since. :)
Mines in for a full service next week while theres still a bit of warranty left. They are going to replace my steering wheel trim, my right rear exhaust plastic mount which has cracked...
Took a few pics of my new car in Hong Kong. It was the recent article in EVO that pretty much sealed the deal for me in getting this used MKI with 15k km on the clock. Driving this car is simply intoxicating!

Sorry to sidetrack a bit... but since most V6 owners are looking in this thread...
- what aftermarket exhausts can I get for the vee? How would you rate them?
- As the front shocks on mine feel a bit worn out, should I get OEM replacements or go aftermarket (KWs?)?
I think if I...
My girlfriend loves the looks of the thing, but found minor annoyances such as engine heat building up in the cabin while we are crawling in traffic, bumpy ride, and the fact that I get too throttle happy when traffic opens up :)
Anyone ever done a clear engine cover for the vee?
I think its somewhat a waste not to show the engine given its so atypical for it to appear in the passenger cabin.
Thanks for the advice Dave. How much do replacement coils go for?
This will be my car in a couple of days! (photo taken during last times test drive :) )

I am looking to the same to mine. (yes, mine!) Do non-V6 Clio MKII lights fit? How much did they run for?
Sorry for the questions, are those stock MKII exhausts or aftermarket ones?
Thanks.
Thanks all.
And your vee looks sharp Clarkie. Sorry for the confusion, yours is a MKII or MKI fitted with the new rearlamps? Your avatar is a MKI serial plate causing the confusion.
Luckily car I tried still has 6 months of warranty left in it. Will asked to have thorough inspection...
cat, thanks. Have read through the EVO article quite a few times, but didnt say anything in particular with the issues I experienced in my test. Hope its not a major problem...
James, thanks for your response as well. Is the water leakage to the rear lights unavoidable?
The previous...
Fellow V6 enthusiasts,
I am currently deliberating on a MKI with less than 15,000km and in pristine condition exterior-wise. On the inside, the steering rim have flaked a bit (will replace with new wheel) and some of the centre console trim and the door trim has scratch marks, which...
