Be aware the Trophy coils have a different connecter for the end of the wiring loom to the existing one on the Mk1. See the picture I posted in this thread. Small re-wiring job required.

Yes the blue connector clips into the top of the coil. I believe the connecter comes with the coil.........not 100% certain, Mike T will know as he still has one spare.

John at R Sport should be able to give you details.

If all were to be sent together (i.e. to one address) we can allow a 20%
discount, this would equate to £8.38+vat (£9.85) per plug.
Total for 36
plugs would be £354.31 with UK postage charged at £6.50.

If you want us to
send to individual addresses, discount would be 15% but UK postage would be
free.

You may also wish to consider Iridium alternatives LFR6AIX-11 or Denso
IKH20.

What are the differences between the three kinds of plugs? There will be two sets to Hong Kong

I am talking about two sets of plugs plus coils.

What is the connector?

Will everything that is needed be included in the deal and I can just take it to a shop for install after i receive them?

Right, back from walking the dog. The situation as I see it is that it is not worth having a Group buy.

What I set out below is how to purchase the Trophy Coils etc. and the costs at the present.

1 Coils - Phone R.S. in Wimbledon - Phone 02085420042 and ask for John. They keep 6 in stock - Price 46.66 +VAT = £54.86 each plus postage. Once the 6 have been sold they re - order another 6 from France. Theyhave an order cycle of about 15 working days, so you may have to wait in the order of a month if not in stock.

They will not give any discount.

2 Connectors - You will require 6 for a complete set.
Contact MikeT - £2 each, not sure about postage.

3 Plugs - plugs £10.47 + VAT = £12.30 post free U.K.

That seems about it as far as I can see.

If any one knows where to get coils cheaper let us know.

From the above it would seem to me to take out an extended warranty to cover the whole car etc.

Disregarding the price, is there a place where everyone can order at the same time? saying that a 15day wait is necessary and 10 people are interested, does that mean the 10th person will have to wait 150 days assuming that they even have it in stock?

Wrong - if you ordered 10 sets on day one and paid for them theyd all arrive 15 days later except the set they already have in stock - assuming Renaultsport have stock in France.

do not need any connectors either..
