Look at 182s from traders on Autotrader, Id take a guess that their valuations are based on the glass guide, not 1,2,3 k under priced like you seem to think.:S

Oh okay then, so the examples of similiar spec 182s from dealers are advertised slightly lower on autotrader than what they are worth then are they????, so the dealers that are selling the 182s dont use/have access to the glass guide, but you do?.

I could be talking s**t, but didnt they do 2 versions of the 172 in Belguim (sp) with 2 different power figures in kw to fit in with the insurance thing?.

Get some examples of similiar spec cars for sale off autotrader, print them off and give them to your insurance company after they offer you £2 for your car.

Makes sense!, this is what I do now after the fitting agent for one of the above companys told me to just go straight through them instead. edit sorry ive already made this point in the post above lol!

Ive used 3 of those companys with good results, one of the fitting agents for one of those companys told me to just go straight to them next time I needed tyres, I have done several times now and theyve done it a couple of quid cheaper.

Danny p off this forum has an 04 plate 172. If its not got the twin exhausts then its a 172.

I passed this garage on my way to work on a building site near Derby, wierd, the light in the workshops was somtimes on so somone must still look after the place.

He probably tried to pull it off as a joke, we used to diconect 1 ht lead on each others cars, 1.ol fiestas etc usaully just before we were going to pick up a 15yr old chick. If it was malicous he needs a loosener to his jaw, if it was a joke thats gone wrong he needs to man up and admit it...

mine had 3 sets of tyres in 46k, they eat discs too, expensive on the back too, I think youl be lucky to get a 182 that hasnt been driven as it should.

The R26, its the perfect step up from the 182, I do prefer the looks of the 197, if they did a 197 with 230bhp turbo and lsd Id order one tomorow. Mine Black wheels on black looks the b****cks. Iam getting 27mpg:(, was getting 33mpg from the 182.

Dont forget the uprated suspension.
