I totally agree with you there. Tax should be the least of your worry, fuel cost probably cost the most (or insurance if you are young) but you don't realise it as you don't pay fuel cost in lump sum of 12 month. i think my dci is 35.

preface lift Vee (230) puts out 267 g/km and the face lift Vee (255) puts out 285 g/km. Therefore they will be in the top band which is Band G.
