I use CX500's (I like the volume control), I'm on my 2nd set now as one failed. It's hard to find real one in the UK though, theres so many fake ones out there, I wouldn't pay under £30 for them off any website, even play and amazon, the 3rd party companies are selling fakes.

Malwarebytes couldn't update with that virus still there so I downloaded the OnCare thing on the netbook and that found 2, so all gone and clear.. Not bad for something that I accidently downloaded and wouldn't use lol!

The laptop is sorted, as soon as I had disabled (!)Serial and restarted Windows Live OneCare found and removed a worm and I can now download Live Messenger and access MS websites...
Just waiting for the netbook to be Malware'd although it still wouldn't let me update the...
I can't use their website, but I found a download for it, but I can't update it as I get an error code. I did run it though and it found 17 things, been removed but still nout grrr
Microsoft still don't load with Cat5 is used to the router on the laptop.
When I run ipconfig /all it opens and runs so fast then closes that I cant even catch it on a screenshot :s
Oh and it's really annoying that I cant download Live Messenger on the laptop because it's installer connects to microsoft and it says that I don't have an active internet connection...

new netbook - wifi - works
laptop fresh xp - wifi - doens't work
another netbook - wifi - doesn't work
I'm not sure about the ping'ing. I tried something I found in google where you type ping + the website...
had a nightmare trying to access the router so had to reset it after trying loads...anyway it says automatic DNS from ISP...

still doesnt work, on 2 laptops it doesnt work, one has just had a fresh XP install. how weird is that??

Oh yeah that didnt work, I malwared it. Found a few things the ms website still not working.
Longy: that brings up a very basic ms website but I can't navigate anywhere from it.
lol oops that was me forgetting to put the IDE connector back on. any it doesnt run safe mode so i cant do the chkdsk. think i'll just order me a new one and reinstall.
I got a Dell Inspiron 9300 which I think is 3.5 yr old now so done me well..
anyway it goes into windows xp boot screen then flashes blue and restarts over and over. I've taken the HD out and plug it in a IDE - USB but it's not reading properly, just flashing on the IDE end and not bringing up...
Exactly lol, can't remember when I last sent or received a ringtone! But it is handy for sending things to laptops etc.
And yeah course Apple don't want you sending music, although anything from itunes would be locked to that iPod anyway..

The only real fault I can see with the N97 is the touchscreen, sure it's gonna be fine for me to use and I won't have any complaints...
I would have though the N97 can log onto and upload to both site but I'm not sure.
Mines coming tomorrow so I'll have to check out the forwarding feature that you speak of, cos I always want to send on txt messages as an email and vice versa :rolleyes:
