Does anyone know how to remove the aerial mount (plastic cone base) from a Mk2 172? The aerial has snapped from the mount and has ripped part of plastic moulding. Just wondered if it is easy going to a scrap yard or to an actual Renault dealership, it's only a little part but who knoes how...

That is North Lincolnshire territory :) I'd be :mad: if still had to pay £141 for the washer jet fitting, but glad it is only costing me £35 now :cool: How they can quote me 2 different prices at such a HUGE difference is beyond me...this was with the help of another garage, so not sure if...

Rip off indeed!, I was quoted £141 :eek: by a dealer to replace a headlight washer!! Luckily another garage was paying for this which they declined to do. Once they got in contact with the Renault garage, the price dropped.... £35inc vat!! Work that out..??? :dapprove: Must have schmuck...

pps. How do you remove the side repeaters EASILY? I seem to take ages removing them, surely there must be an easy way. I tend to pry one side out a bit then the other..but it never gets far!!

Hi Jackson172 I bought some of the exact same side repeaters, I'm not 100% they fit. I haven't fitted them as I've changed my mind in regards to the chrome look :) If you haven't bought any yet, mine are for sale(unused). Drop me a line if you are interested. p.s If you do get them to fit...
