Anyone had a SPORTEX exhaust fitted? Just had one put on my 172 but it sounds the same as when I had no back box on! Is this normal (it is bloody loud) or does it need running in?? Anyway of silencing it?

I asked Sportex directly if I needed this from Renault, he seemed to think a standard rubber mount from a garage would be ok?

Id try JP exhausts in macclesfield, £200 for a stainless steel custom system. Or tyr sportex on the net, £180 for a sporty exhaust (full).

Bought a 172 52 plate import few days ago. NO trip computer.

it just has the standard total mileage on the top and a resettable mileage below it. The button on the stalk is there to activate the trip computer but nothing happens when you press it! maybe there is just a problem with that too as the central locking button on interior has no effect either...
