Exhaust fitting, 172

Car  RenaultSport clio 172 mk2
I have recently ordered a sportex exhaust for my 172 after the back box on connection corroded and fell off. I had to cut throught the little rubber attachments on the bracket to remove the back box.
I have the car booked in a garage on hursday to install the new exhaust, will they have rubber attachments? Sportex say it is a standard fitting but i believe renault supply them with an aluminium bracket???

You need to buy one from Renault mate, about £20~

Your right in saying the rubber mount is part of the aluminium casting.

I asked Sportex directly if I needed this from Renault, he seemed to think a standard rubber mount from a garage would be ok?

actually, yes you can just use a normal rubber!

using the existing aluminum ali bracket you can wedge a normal rubber into it
