I recently had these fitted, i know its takes quite a few miles before they get to there best, but is it normal at 1st for them to have poor grip. Ive heard nothing but good things about these tyres and was suprised my knackered contis had more grip.

Yeah!! there cheap, just got some goodyear F1s off there, just over 60 quid a corner. Only thing is finding someone to fit them. Not many places will touch them unless you buy the tyres from the actuall place.

I had a similar problem, took it back 2 renault and it turned out to be a loose shocker mount, well thats what they told me. The problem was cured for a while, but has come back just recently.
