after having the clip on the diff snap and lose drive and half of it go in my gearbox i got my gearbox reconned got it put back in my car and now it wont start anyone got any ideas ?

im sure its on your vin plate its three numbers i think.

you should cry lol thats a disgrace discs will be about 35 quid a pair , pads about 15 quid and cv boots about a fiver each my 2002 172 has 42k on and mine hasnt needed rear pads or discs yet. im afraid they've got your eyes there. make sure you complain!!!!!

i have a 2002 172 ph2 without esp is the gearbox a jc5-129 ??

universal one's will run most cars but im sure ngk will do a oe fitment sensor and i dont think it will be anywhere near 150 quid.

by the way was yours on your v6 , or a 172 ??

i lost all drive on friday on my 172 took it to the garage on saturday and found out it was those 2 clips on the diff replaced them and car is running, but knocking like a biatch even when idling until i put the clutch in , the knocking builds with the revs im starting to think its the box...

anyone? lol my arse is twitching as much as my wallet

youre right it was the two clips cost all of $6 for the bits cars running again but something knocking hope its not the snapped bit of the clip!

hi was driving home from work tonight in my 172 and lost all drive engine still running and reviving but going nowhere sounds like a big bill on the way , sounds like a driveshaft or box to me anyone else had this happen ??

they are all the p u seam sealers but sikaflex is the best brand.
