It won't be the wheel nuts because I've changed a tyre since I first heard it and it still does it. Wheel bearings could be a poss though. Can I check them myself?

I got into a Volvo (on it the biting point is right at the bottom) the other day and nearly launched into another car.

I think it's more a clutch cable adjustment... Anyone know how to do that?

On mine (it might be the same with most Clio's) the biting point is allll the way up at the top, so in other words, to engage the gear when you've pressed it down you've got to release the clutch nearly to the top before the gear kicks in. It's just a bit annoying. Would prefer the biting...

Somewhere (can't remember where though) there is a guide to say what the combination of flashes and beeps are for. It's to tell you what exactly was the problem and why the alarm went off/didn't set right.
