are there any typical faults on clio gearboxes? my mate has a 172ff 4 yrs old 40k on the clock and gearbox has 'gone'. not sure of details, only know its bollocksed. was wondering if any one else had problem? solutions? or know anyone in north west area to see about sorting it out????? help...

help me!!! hello everyone, have fitted some of the renaultsport seats (half leather half suede) that come in the 172 into my clio cup today. unfortunately there is an extra wire with a kind of microswitch on the end hanging loose, not sure where it lives but dont remember taking it off...
