I'm looking to do some maths with some dyno data but can't find any god examples online.
Does anybody have a dyno output in a human readable format like an Excel spreadsheet or Comma Separated Variable?
Somebody suggested that I print one of the many graphs available and work out all the points...
Must be busy, I get this when I try and use the Orange one:
Error 500--Internal Server Error
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
10.5.1 500 Internal Server Error
The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.
Yep, I know mine is a mk2...
The mk2 ph1 172 mount looks identical to mk1 mount. Maybe the rubber isn't as hard!
Even that k-tec part says for "1.8 16v & Williams"
Has to be standard looking part for insurance!
I've got a ph1 Clio 172. Engine movement is on the way up so I'm looking at getting a new dog-bone mount.
This is for a mk1 clio but will it fit the ph1 172?
If he does I doubt he'd be that interested if it didnt involve any other work, I wouldnt be!
The problem is, if you just want a plain old MOT you're left taking it to idiots
The adjuster is on the lever inside the car, took me ages to find as I was expecting to find it underneath. Mine is X reg so it should be the same right?
I put a new exhaust on it last weekend and then half an hour before my MOT the cable snapped! I gave the bloke literally every single detail...
I bought a handbrake cable for my ph1 172 from Euro car parts in Leeds where i queued for about 40 minutes, crawled under my car, burnt myself on the exhaust, and the cable is the wrong length.
Does anybody have any recomendations of where to get one from? How much am I looking at to get one...
when it happens in the central area of a dual carriageway and your trying to stop yourself from rolling out into traffic, the last thing youre thinking of doing is lifting off the brake!
But yes, pushing harder has no effect so what would i have to lose...
The ABS on my ph1 172 is p***ing me off.
I've got ds2500 pads in the front.
Once they are warmed up i can stand on the brakes and get a nice squeal out of all 4 tyres and a bit of ABS. The stopping power is amazing. And i get roughly the same in the wet, just a bit more ABS and less stoppy...
19k!
A friend bought a 9 month old (8000miles) 310bhp BMW 135i for £24k (£36k list price)
Its not even remotely the same sort of car, but you can get a lot more for your money!
I love my clios but theres no way i would pay that for one!
The hangers dont look like they have bolts in the ends which could be an issue.
I could probably bodge that up myself, it looks very cheap!
...also not sure i would buy anything from somebody who calls it an 'xhuast'
i think the shims should come out...
My only issue is with you comparing a road car to a race car. A clio racer will have its brakes checked between races so any issues will be picked up quickly. A road car will do thousands of miles between checks!
