Just spent best part of a week under her fully derusting (with gel stuff), Waxoyling and caliper/hub blackening. Just thought I'd share as quite chuffed. Anyone else?
Some of you may remember so mofos nicked my door mouldings a few weeks back...
:banghead:
Well I love the black beast too much for her to stay like that too long, so after a trip to CitRen for replacements kindly donated by this...
[£60 verses £175 from thieving Reno]
I headed off...
A great start to the week!
Went out the house this morning to find the strips along both doors have been ripped off and stolen. They also put a couple of scratches in the doors in the process. So annoyed.
I only brought the car up to Newcastle (North Shields) 2 weeks ago. My housemate...
Having seen a few very impressive pics on here I thought I'd enter the fray. We worth the trip if you haven't been...
Anyone know the red Mk 1 V6 not hanging about on the A28 in convoy with a Carrera GT and F430?
Cheers, M.
Well Le Mans certainly was sweet again. Slightly less rain was a bonus.
Anyway, a couple of clios popped up in my 500+ pics taken. Anyone?

Saw 'wahey' a few times, believe you were staying in BSJ...?
Anyone see this...
Arctic Cup in Silverlink carpark.
Very tasty arctic Vee, 'Bone' plate', North Shields.
I've just moved up here, you seem to have quite regular get-togethers. I'm up for it, can you stick me on your mailing list please?
I'm currently rather tempted by the GDi 182 'zorst.

Done a few searches but can't find many opinions on them. Can any proud (or otherwise) owners share their experiences please?
e.g.
sound
boominess on motorway
rattles...
Has anyone had any experience with these guys?
I have been quoted £120 + VAT for a full de-stonechip (all of car) and wax. Also £240 + VAT for full refurb (any colour I like) of all 4 wheels.
Does that sound fair?
Seems like a pro outfit and nice blokes.
Thanks, M.
A word of warning to anyone considering getting a Dension Icelink/Gateway from this particular establishment:
I had heard great things about the Icelink Plus on here so thought I'd treat myself as our 2 week honeymoon was going to involve a lot of miles...
Looking at their website it said...
Has anyone else had experience of one of these fitted to a 182 please?
Was after an IceLink Plus but iPod Car Kit Direct said the Gateway has superseded it so I thought fair enough I'll have that.
I’ve plumbed it in an everything works as it should (fully interactive with the stereo...
Went both days, loved it.
Didn't have any traffic issues, was really surprised/sad to hear how bad it was for some on here :( .
First day out with new dSLR (my 1st). Fairly pleased with results considering sun wasn't playing along most of the time. Please let me know what you think...
Just got back from awsome week blasting round Snowdonia.
Met a Dutch 172 owner on my campsite, he told me there are only 7 172s in Holland because with import tax they cost equiv. of £19k new  .
The roads really are even better than they look. Sooo much fun :approve: .
Just got back from my 1st Le Mans- absolutely awsome even with the annoying weather (must be truely incredible with the usual sun). Still buzzing from the whole thing, so much to take in for the 1st time, so many more experiences to be had next time.
Drive to and from was quality, Black...
Anyone use one of these to connect their iPod?
www.iplug-rds.com
Hardwire not FM transmitter, songs displayed, slightly cheaper than Dension I believe, should work on Reno OE. Sounds good...
Adverts have been in EVO for last couple of months. Some dubious english translation on the...
Took Black Thunder to Permagard at their Docklands HQ today. Thoroughly impressed with work, service, staff and price. :approve:
She now looks incredible (and I havent even seen her in proper daylight yet as it was dark by the time they finished). A fair few swirls beforehand (previous...
I have recently started noticing a fairly strong smell coming from the front, driver's side of my 182's engine bay. It is there after every drive but is stronger after stop-start driving. Of course this suggests the clutch but the car's only done 24k miles and is in very good shape otherwise. It...
My beast has been busy recently (and the car ha ha). Isle of Man last week, rolling road today. Went to Surrey Rolling Road- fantastic facility, staff (Charlie) very knowledgable.
She put out a calculated 171.5 bhp (6600 rpm) and 149 ftlb (5600 rpm) at the flywheel which I'm pretty happy...
Evo is about to turn 100 issues old and are doing a readers pole of the greatest performance cars- 'the Evo 100'.

Renault Sports are very well represented (as IMO they should be) in the shortlist with the 5 Turbo...
I went to watch the Tour of Britain cycle race yesterday in central london. The actual racers were preceeded by no less than 20 Police motorbikes (they were numbered) who nailed it in front to block off all the roads to prevent carnage.
All in all it was very intimidating and efficient and...
Just made the most of the sun with my 1st claying of the 182 (now known as black thunder). Took ~2 hours including a wax after. Very impressed with the results. Claying really does make a difference, especially as i don't think BT has been properly loved by her previous owners. The once white...
Anyone else spotted Keith Chegwin and an assortment of lackies outside their flat at 0830 in the morning recently?
If so, was he dressed like a 12-year-old 'skater boi' when you saw him?
:D I'm back on land and the beast was sat there waiting for me in my car-park. A pretty special thing to come home to. I know you lot like (ney crave) pictures so here's one. Bare in mind i've only had it 2 seconds and the weather is arse so it is in a filthy state. Havent had a 'proper' drive...
Hi to all you wonderful folks from newcomer T S Magnum.
I don't think I have ever been more frustrated in my life.
Have always loved and desperately wanted a fast clio since I worked offloading them at the docks in Southampton.
Been working hard, saving up, and monitoring the forums and...
