managed to get the bottom part of the sensor off and that looks fine, but the top part with the button type thing i couldn't get out? any ideas how to diable the alarm but lock the cup or just how to diable the bonnet sensor?

Hi guys, i've topped up my fluid yesterday and the steering seems to be getting back to normal, how long should it take? Also when people say they can hear the pump is it a loud noise or not, i can hear mine but only with the door open and the bonnet up, is this normal?

quick question again! i'm new to this PAS fluid stuff! i need to top up so getting some tonight, but when looking in the PAS tank, there seems to be a plastic disc thing under the minimum level and then the tank continues, is this normal? also should i top up when the engine is cooled?

What fluid do i need to replace my PAS fulid, will any type do the same job or is there a specific one i need to get?

do/can camshaft seal leaks cause oil to be sprayed all over engine bay? mainly left side?

cheers for the help guys, its going in on monday to have it sorted, think it is the PAS cos the power steering seems to be getting heavier by the day! What ever it it its sprayed the left hand side of the engine bay, the battery is covered and the bonnet carpet thing is covered!

right guys, just reversed my car back and think it might be the PAS which is leaking, the leak is prodominantley (spelling?) down the left hand side when looked at from the bumper and the liqid on the drive is slight oil but mainly like a greasey liquid, cant tell if its red cos got block...

cheers guys, like i said, it doesn't have any trouble going into gear at all, other than the patch on the drive i wouldn't have known, the cover did deem to be covered in oil though.

hi guys i've had my back box replaced a few months ago and now the pipe leading upto the back box is splitting and staring to blow, is it the centre section i need to replace and how much should it be?

i've been quoted £175 for everything but back box fitted, back box was replaced 3 months ago and cost £155 so in total £330 for everything fitted, that was from renault in manchester.

i've been quoted for my 172 cup from renault at £175 for everything upto the backbox which is only 3 months old after being replaced (back box was £155 when replaced). hope this gives you an idea but not sure if it is the same setup or not, yours will probably be a bit cheaper i would imagine.

its 52 plate, warranty has gone! it seems to be the pipe that connects to the back box which has split and is starting to blow, but really now looking to get a standard exhaust fitted apart from the back box. Anyone know how much it should cost?

just spoke to renault and this includes the Tensioners etc, the guy i spoke to said that the reason for the price being lower than the FF is due to the time scale being less because the Air con "is not in the way" as he put it. So think the price is quite good.
