the supplier is confused about which part it is? Is there a part number for these springs?

Do Sportlines fit perfectly or are there some rubbing issues on inner guards?
ie: do they just 'work' or is there some butchering required of plastic guards?

i don't have an oil temperature gauge - nor do the majority of normally aspirated cars. all i'm saying is that clios are driving in much hotter climates (ie: more demanding environments) than yours with no troubles - over hundreds of thousands kilometres.
When you say it needs an oil cooler how hot are you talking? it is summer in australia and all our clio sports here are doing time in 40 + degrees no problems. unless you've got some serious modding going on then what's the point? given you're going to be dealing with temperature extremes in...

i'm from australia and notice that your (ie: UK) numberplates are much bigger than our australian ones. yours fill the numberplate cavity nicely compares to ours.
Are uk ones made of plastic or steel? and how do you affix them to the body - are they screwed on?
