What to look out for when buying a 172???

Hello boys and girls, i am a clio sport newb, firstly salut everyone

i am in the market to purchase a 172 in the next month or so have driven 2 one was mint one was a shi*e.


Can any one advise what to look out for common problems etc. Also some general info i.e when cambelts are supposed to be done.

What srt of car can i expect to get for around £5500 - 6500 region e.g mileage.


any other info you think i may benefit from i would very much appreciate.


Also if you know anyone who wants to buy an astra 1.6 16v SXI 2002 with 27k miles mint condition let me know.
