i welded mine last week just did it with a stick welder done it on the car no worries just tack it (or get someone to ) then weld a bit turn the steering wheel then weld a bit more ectect! took 15 mins made it 100% better i could'nt beleve i was driving with so much play,it was all over the...
i did all mine a while back no way on earth was i getting them out with a socket and hammer of any kind!
Even the press was working hard!
You can always heat the hub up and put the bearing in the freezer then it should go in easyer ull have to be quick tho.But it works.

I was maybe thinking it was the alarm i have a toad and it acts a bit weirdsometimes. it seemed to be working fine but dont they cut the fuel pump and spark when they kick in?
yea i might leave it and see if it goes again it sure does sound like that sensor i guess but need to find out if that would also make the fuel pump cut.

yea when i turn the key on just before i turn it over you always hear the fuel pump prime and but when the car would not start when i turned it there were no noises at all so it was like there was no power to the fuel pump as well as the spark. Its all working fine now tho thats what i find...
yea i guess ill change it i stalled it earlyer outside my house to see if i could get it to do it again but it wont!
Ill change it tommorow i think a few people said to me that i shouldnt stop the fuel pump from priming tho? that the only thing im puzzeled about now.
leave it as is you will get more for it if its standard more people will be interested. Then get a 172 or whatever later.be happy you have a car as new as that at 18 letalone a car at all.

Would any one know if the crank shaft sensor would stop the fuel pump from priming as i turn the ingition on? As when i couldnt start the car yesterday there was no spark and i could not hear the fuel pump priming...
Then 3 hours later the car starts up fine again.

Is it the protector from the inside of the car or the outside?
I lifted the one on the inside of the car where the joint is and it seems fine (when i steer it moves the same amount so i was guessing the problem would be further down unless it need to...
anyone on here that will weld it up if thats what it needs?

ok this may seem like a stupid question doing an oil change on my valver and thought id top the gear oil up while im there.... So i have the car on level ground and undoo the white plastic filler car and oil comes pissing out allover me!

done mine the other day even after dropping the exhaust ect it wasnt quite enough do your self a hudge favour and just get new bolts and replace them if i had done that it would have saved me about an hour!

Hey guys ok ive been hav a few probs with my valver
I was getting this weird power loss when turning left and also when the car got wet (washed or heavy rain) it would almost stall on tickover.
I have changed the distributer cap and rotor fitted all new ht leads and cleaned up the plugs...
