valver problems (again)

Ok i just broke down in the ****ing middle of nowhere the car would not start after stalling it doing a 3point turn lol called the aa so the guy comes after sitting in the car on a dark country road in this blizard..
He says there is no spart and its prob a "crank shaft sensor" but i say as i turn the ignition on i cant hear the servos ect starting up..
He then tells me my aa cover only covers me for him to take me and my car 10 miles so he takes me to some lame town where i am about to leave my car(prob to only get broken into or nicked by some chav) Then fiddle with fuses and the earth ectect then as im about to lock it up and get a lift with my mates girlfriend who drove 70 miles to get us. thought id give it one last try for luck and the poxy thing starts!!!! after all that trying to start it for 2 hours it then starts...Any one know what the hell could have gone wrong? sorry about the long story.

Crank shaft sensor is a possibility as he suggested tbh. If there wasn't any spark then it would be my first guess. Easy enough to check when it's not working if you have an ohmeter, but if it's now working again it'll be impossible to tell until (if) it happens again.

yea? ok cool so weird tho how it started working again tho(im glad it did)
But now im just paranoid it iwll happen again.
If it was this im guessing its not a hard job or expencive?

And would this also stop the servo noises ect that you hear just before you start the car?
