I didn't load the .cal file as assumed it was part of the .rst file I loaded on as the numbers were the same (8200-7804). I will put the .cal on as advised by Henk and see if it makes a difference.. I'll let you know. Thanks.
Cheers
Hi
I got my RS Tuner in the post today and have a few questions.
The rst already on my 2005 182 (and the original according to the history on the rs tuner software) wasn't listed as a 'standard engine software' on the fastchip.nl website. Mine was 8100-7803
I backed up the original .rst and...
Hi, I received the rs tuner today and am having trouble downloading the manual from the fastchip website. It just says page not found. I didn't receive a hard copy manual with the rs tuner. So that I don't balls it up does anyone have any tips on how to use it or is it obvious? Thanks
I was out in my black 182 later in the day as was desperate for some track time. It was scary how aggressive and lacking in track day manners some of the other drivers were.. in particular a silver BMW 740 (with child in passenger seat) and 200sx drifting very close to other cars.. but we...
Thanks, will probably order this one from Kam Racing:

As the pipe on the elbow end should fit over snugly! MOT shouldn't be a problem :)
Good point, I hadn't thought of that....
Thank you thats very helpful. I didn't realise it would be an MOT failure to have an oil breather! I wonder if i could attached a filter to the hose that's on there already and secure it somehow, perhaps to the bulkhead.
Hi
I am replacing the induction elbow with a silicon one and need to get a separate oil breather filter. I had a quick look and it looks like i need a 14mm filter. Can anyone confirm the size? I want to attach directly to the crank case
Thanks a lot
This pic shows condition of 182 exhaust back box after 13k miles and 3.5 years.. I think it's on the way out but isn't blowing yet. Maybe it will fall off soon which would give me an excuse for a new one.. or maybe it's just surface rust
and a pic of the car after a clean, clay, polish and wax
If the washers are there to stop vibration, by taking them out do you get shaken to death? Are they the big rubber/plastic things you see that surround the bolts that attach the subframe to the floor?
Hi, I have a 182 registered in Sept 2005. It has only done 13k, do you think i should get the aux belt and tensioners replaced as a precautionary measure? Can anyone recommend RSport in Wimbledon?
Cheers
Am also looking for a popping and banging exhaust. The cooper s standard exhausts sound great, shame it doesn't sound possible to replicate this on a 1*2. Can overfuelling on overrun be added with the rstuner??
How much higher was the rear of the car after stripping out? Did it look silly? Also did the bonnet insulation (it's there for sound i assume) weigh much?
Cheers!
Great will look into it. I saw on another thread that Supersprint sell a straight through pipe (pic on website www.supersprint.it) so may get this and a decat. I wonder if it would affect power keeping the standard rear box (to be replaced in the near future anyway)
I've been lurking for a while and thought i would post here. In 2006 i had a blue 182 with cup packs and recaros for a year but then decided i would buy an elise. I had the elise for a year and loved it but decided to go back to a clio for a better all round package. So in September i bought a...
Sorry to hijack this. My centre section is rattling - is it a good idea to replace the centre section with a straight through pipe with the standard factory rear section.. just wondering about how it would sound and also if there would be any fitting issues. any help appreciated
