Just wondering if anybody knows of any insurance companys that will insure 18 year olds for modifications such as lowering springs and not have you balls off. a lot of companys seem to have a policy of not insuring any modification if the driver is under 25.

if im correct i think the sports are the ones that come with the lights like mine as standard, that arent an RS model. 172's are the RS'

The fact that if you looked into it there is actually such thing as a 1.2 sport and this happens to be one. not really any plans for it other than selling it to be honest.

yeh i know. i couldnt believe it when i saw them going that cheap. i couldnt resist. id been looking at others and they were all around £700-800 so when i saw them i got them instantly.

I dont think they do those rims any more. I know for a fact they were the last set were i got them from. not sure how much the 15's are either. never really looked at them at the time because i had my mind set on 17s. wish id gone for 16s now though.

It already is lowered by 40mm and im happy with it at that. Dont fancy goin any lower tbh. anybody got any 16's they be interested in part-exchanging my alloys for?

i was thinking about having my wheels sprayed but ive decided id like some 16's instead. quite fancy some cup or trophy wheels.

Cheers guys. Its lowered by 35 mm but its more like 40. The alloys are ripspeed specials lol. I only payed £320 for the full set with tyres and balanced brand new.

Mines lowered by 35 mm on G-max springs. Deffinately stiffens up the ride. i run 17's and it seems fine. Oh and harry manback. You no alex swift dont you?
