I was driving down the motorway earlier and a light came on the dash (looks like a heartbeat) along with the traction control light, pulled in and the car was reving up and down by itself. Any ideas, im thinking throttle position sensor, so a new pedal is needed. cheers

I think il give these guys a try, it stick some resistors in the seat bases and that will hopefully turn the light on the dash out.

When you say re programme the ecu do you mean earse the fault codes? There are a couple of companies that can re programme airbag computer for £50, any1 had this done?

The drivers seat airbag fired on my 182 after hitting a pot hole. I think I will go for a set of Recaros now, just wondering if I will be able to turn off the airbag light by using resistors or will I need to replace airbag computer?? Cheers sean

Pre cat lambda sensor maybe

sounds like a pre cat lambda sensor

the miltek centre section is just a sleeve that fits into the decat, the does not have a flange at that end

THE CAR HAS A FULL MILTEK AND THE CAT IS BRAND NEW SO SURLEY I WOULDNT NEED TO CHOP IT, CAN ANY1 CONFIM THIS?

My car has a miltek decat at the moment but its nearly mot time so will be putting a new cat on. The only problem is how to fit the new cat, it has a flange at the manifold end which is fine but at the other side there is nothing, does it just fit in or am i missing something?? Cheers

the car is seriously over fueling, im hoping if i get the cat back oon and erase the fault codes that wil sort it, its as if the cars missing, dont think its a coil pack but we will see

im just thinking i might need to replace the lambda, am i right in thinkin its the one closest to the engine that is likely to be away??

I picked up a 2004 plate 182 with 38k on the clock. the car has a decat fitted but the garage supplied a brand new cat for it. As soon as i started the car up it was running lumpy and emmisions light was on but i thought the new cat will sort this. On the way home the car lost power then...
